ROCKY’S desal worries
Rocky is out punching
Dear friends of Rocky,
It is fantastic to have so many kids write in to save my sea world.
It is a bit too chilly for you to pop underneath just now, but to see just how beautiful it is a must look is at www.barwonbluff.com.au
My ecosystems took hundreds and hundreds of years to develop and are all explained on this terrific barwonbluff website. Check out the fab pictures and great technical stuff on ecosystems unique to our Southern Australian coast.
Once you are very convinced that this desalination plant should not be built on your Wonthaggi coastline, please email me at info@yourwateryoursay.org and simply say “no desal wanted Rockyâ€. You can also say your thing at their website.
We need lots of kids to get politicians to change.
I need about 100,000 kids to email so please get busy and get friends to email too.
Happy Feet has been in touch and thinks it is best to get a strong message over to those Labour Government politicians that the Desalination plant is definitely not wanted on our Wonthaggi coast. The politicians do not know much about anything in my Marine World. They are guessing! But remember they are paid millions of dollars to justify this desal plant so they are clever to disguise their guesswork.
That’s why they tell half truths and fabricate stuff.They simply have not done the investigations which would show this desal is wrong, wrong.I think Mr Brumby has panicked with this worst possible desalination solution.
Can someone explain to me more about those chemicals and their effect. Also, do you feel that tonnes and tonnes of brine can block out oxygen and kill off marine plants and us sea creatures.
We need to explain our delicate ecosystem down here to get them to understand. Lots of us are permanent residents and simply will die.Happy Feet keeps insisting there will not be enough food when the food chain is poisoned.
