John Gunson, chairman of the YOUR WATER YOUR SAY Action Group presented the honourable Ken Smith, MP for Bass, with a petition opposing the construction of Victoria’s Desalination plant at Wonthaggi.
The petition has been signed by 4,000 Victorian residents concerned about the impact the plant will have on greenhouse emissions, water costs, marine life, tourism and the coastal landscape.Please continue to collect new signatures for the petition as we will continue to present them to Parliament as we receive them.
